OFG Children’s Behaviour Policy
Our new Children’s Behaviour Policy, designed by our pupils for our pupils, is now rolling out across
2016 has been a very busy year for Outcomes First Group.
We’ve had some huge achievements throughout the year, one of which was in February when the company acquired IIP Gold. Following a rigorous assessment we joined the top 7% of accredited organisations across the UK by achieving GOLD standard. In addition, we were also awarded the Health and Wellbeing Good Practice Award, demonstrating the company’s commitment to looking after the health and wellbeing of employees.
During the summer our Training department launched the New Behaviour Support Programme after receiving accreditation from BILD. STTRIIDE (Support techniques and theory to reduce incidents and increase de-escalation effectiveness) a programme developed in-house, is now successfully being rolled out across the company.
Staff have done some fantastic fundraising throughout the year starting with a summer cake sale that raised funds for the NSPCC. Following this there was the ‘Bag it Beat it’ campaign which saw staff across the company donate a record number of 188 bags to the charity. Over the festive period, instead of writing each other cards, the staff at head office decided to contribute to ‘Crisis at Christmas’ a charity that supports the homeless with hot meals at Christmas time.
Finishing off the year on a high, Outcomes First Group received an award in the ‘School Operator- Private Schools Group’ category at the Education Investor Awards. This was achieved as a result of the clinical approach at Options Barton, a holistic service to children with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.
The clinical model has an in-house team of experts made up of highly skilled and experience psychologist and therapists, to look at the individual as a whole and work in a joined up approach across all services.
The most significant event was the merger with Options Group, which has made us one of the UK’s largest providers of specialist care and education. The merger continues to offer a real opportunity to build upon our strong foundation, and to expand the services we offer to Local Authorities at a national level.
We look forward to sharing all our news and further developments as 2017 progresses.
Happy New Year to All.
