Acorn Education are currently hiring Residential Childcare Assistants in the Wiltshire area.
Role: Support Worker
Salary: Up to £27,209.00 per annum
Hours: Full Time; Permanent (45.5 on average a week, various shifts)
Location: Porton, Wiltshire
Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required

The Opportunity
Our next Residential Childcare Worker will be someone who has:
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required
- A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
- Patience, resilience, and calmness.
Some of your duties would be as follows;
- Supporting the young people to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
- Undertaking household tasks
- Engage our young people in tasks and activities
Acorn Education are recruiting Residential Childcare Workers to join our teams within the Wiltshire area.
At The Farmhouse your empathy and warmth will enable you to support vulnerable young people aged 7-18 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH). This means that the young people we support for may have experienced challenging or traumatic upbringings and may have difficulties with anxiety, mental health or in some cases self-harm.
This accommodation itself, is calm and quiet and located close to Salisbury. There are animals in the grounds which the occupants love to visit as a part of their therapeutic programs.
The Farmhouse is based in Porton, and is within commuting distance from Salisbury, Andover, Shaftesbury and surrounds.
