Role: Support Worker - PLUS WELCOME BONUS!
Salary: Up to £24,927.24 per annum
Location: Cumbria
We have three Adult residential homes based in the Cumbria region, all within a close distance of each other. We are recruiting for Greenacres – a site that houses young adults with complex needs, and require close supervision, however, enjoy accessing the local community to take part in a range of activities.
Who we are looking for:
- Although, experience is not required, we need people who fit the following criteria
- People with a big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives
- Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging
- Be patient, resilient and calming
- Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs
- Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care, by working towards a funded qualification in Adult Care Work (if you do not currently hold this or equivalent)
