About the Home:

Bryn Melyn Care (BMC) is part of the Outcomes First Group, we are a leading provider of therapeutic, residential care, independent education and integrated clinical services for children and young people with multiple and complex needs. We deliver a portfolio of specialist services for young people ages 8 – 18+, from crisis and assessment placement, through to long-term placement and preparation for independent living.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our fantastic team at Bryn Melyn Care (BMC). As a Deputy Home Manager, you will support our Head of Care in ensuring the smooth operation of the home, helping our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a setting where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where children and young people are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

Our Deputy Care Managers help to ensure our care teams have the structure, resources and motivation needed to provide the individual, bespoke, support required by the children and young people in our care. Alongside the Head of care, you will deliver efficient management, delivery, and development of our residential Learning Disability service, ensuring the highest quality of care and support is consistently given.

What we need from you:

· Currently hold at least their NVQ/QFC level 3 in Children and young people services

· Already a Deputy Care Manager or with previous management experience in a similar 24/7 LD/ASC care setting with ambition to progress

· Full and valid UK Driving Licence

· Access to a car

· Right to Work in the UK

· Passionate about caring for children and young people, and to support them to reach their full potential
