We are looking for an experienced Class Teacher/Nurture Teacher to join our fantastic team at Belmont Secondary School, Rawtenstall. As a Class Teacher/Nurture Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.
The teacher is responsible for high quality teaching to ensure the effective delivery of the school’s curriculum. The ideal candidate will successfully set a vision and targets for pupil success and be confident in using their knowledge and expertise to monitor progress, give regular feedback and encouraging our young people to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study.

Whilst previous experience of working in an specialist environment would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
Educated to Qualified Teacher Status or NQT level, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential. We’re looking for a Class Teacher/Nurture Teacher to join the Belmont Secondary School team.
