Salary:                up to £50,000 (DOE)

About the role

We are looking for a Curriculum Lead to provide a high quality education service to Post 16 students, developing a curriculum that is innovative, creative and fit for our individual College purpose.

The Curriculum Lead will use their expertise to develop, implement and monitor a high-quality curriculum and best practice across the College. Taking personal responsibility for the development of the curriculum and ensuring audits are performed to monitor the effectiveness of the curriculum.  You will ensure appropriate standards are maintained in relation to education whilst also considering the important link with both care and clinical input.

The successful candidate will work with both internal and external stakeholders including (but not limited to) the in-house clinical team, colleagues within other services, service user relatives, advocates and others, Regulatory and Inspection bodies, Local Services and Examination Boards.  Ensuring the curriculum across the College is consistent and exceeds external best practice standards.

You will work collaboratively with the senior leadership team and in house clinical specialists to ensure services are structured, staffed, trained and operated to deliver high quality and individually tailored programmes to meet the needs of each young person.

About the College

Options West London Community College is a well-established, independent living and life skills provision for adults on the autism spectrum. The college is an excellent provision, which offer individualised programmes for up to 70 students and which are designed to meet the complex needs of each of our students, as well as to increase their sense of personal independence. The college is located over four campuses, with excellent travel links.

Essential Criteria

•             Previous experience of curriculum design and development

•             Qualified Teacher Status with experience of EHCP’s

•             Leadership experience
