Clinical and Wellbeing Locality Lead

Salary: up to £57,000 per annum

Hours:  37.5 hours per week (job share will be considered)

We’re looking for a clinician with leadership experience to join Outcomes First Group as our Clinical and Wellbeing Locality Lead.  This role is one in which the successful applicant will lead, manage and hold clinical responsibility across two education sites (Barton and Meadowcroft) and the attached residential services.  Someone with a holistic and integrated approach to care, education and clinical services would be perfect for this role.

About The Role

This role is ideal for those who enjoy a variety of leadership and clinical practice.  Reporting directly into the Regional Head of Clinical Services you will work across our regional clinical hub within a range of settings, holding clinical responsibility whilst also managing and developing a multi-disciplinary team providing services of, but not limited to - Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational and Sensory Integration Therapy, Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology, Therapy Assistants and other appropriate professions as the allocated services require to meet the needs of children, young people and adult’s. You will be responsible for the outstanding functionality of the inhouse clinical provision achieved through a substantial resource being at your disposal.  The role is integral to the Senior Leadership Team.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an outstanding trauma and neurodevelopmental differences informed Practitioner Psychologist, with strong and proven leadership and management skills.  The multi-disciplinary team will help provide all levels of service intervention to surrounding provisions within the Outcomes First Group, as such you will need to have your own means of transport. You will work independently within the overall framework of the service policies and procedures and support the integration of the specific service in the day to day running of each provision i.e. standardised assessments and clinical services. A key aspect of the role will be quality assuring the hub and its delivery of informed interventions at a universal, targeted and specialist level to support our wider teams in meeting our children, young peoples and adult’s needs in line with set Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

The role is required to take place in a range of settings across the group in applying assessments and the delivery of clinical/medical intervention. Skills in the management of data are also important as the role includes collecting and analysing data to inform various pieces of service delivery, development and project work.

Essential Criteria

  • Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Post Graduate Qualification, for example MA / Doctorate
  • First degree in psychology, education, social work or related discipline.
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience of working with children and young people
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage strategically
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
  • Ability to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict.
