Outcomes First Group are opening a new Primary School based in London. We are looking for an inspiring Headteacher to start up and lead this newly purposed, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) School and nursery. As Headteacher, you will promote a relentless focus on high quality, creative learning and safe and secure care. You will oversee our pupils educational needs, maximising children’s achievement, and their ability to develop as well as maintain a safe and secure environment for our residential children.

This is a great opportunity for a Headteacher who is looking to be an innovative, strategic leader and with a desire to start a School from scratch. You will help design the curriculum and have autonomy to influence the School in the way you want to, ensuring it has the resources, staff and ability to inspire learning in academic SEN environments, for children with varied ASD needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be the custodian of our strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

You will be the first appointment for the school and so you will need to recruit your own team and grow the school staff team in line with growth plans. Eventually, you will line manage a team and deliver clear, authentic leadership, establishing a school vision and strategic plan, which inspires your team to deliver high levels of safety, quality, compliance, and dedication. You will ensure your school have effective management and an engaged, high performing team to deliver outstanding education and care.

About us:

Our new Options Autism School is a brand new Primary School forecasted to open in January 2022. It will be a specialist ASD Primary School, based in Shoreditch, London. We will cater for primary children who have Autism and complex needs and we will also have an onsite nursery.

The aim of the school is to provide specialist individual support to each child, enabling them to reach their potential so they can live fulfilling and productive lives.
