Do you love teaching? Do you want to have the autonomy to create fun, exciting and engaging lessons for children with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and or Autism? Longdon Hall School is looking for innovative thinkers who can create new and encapsulating ways of teaching the bespoke curriculum to our students.

We are looking for a creative, active and open-minded Class Teacher to join our family feel team at Longdon Hall. You must have a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging of minds and behaviours. We are looking for candidates, who want to get involved, have their ideas heard and who are resilient and caring. If you are an NQT, we are also happy to receive your application. Ideally, you will be a creative thinker and be able to turn the subjects you teach into fun and engaging ones. Previous experience or a professional interest in SEMH and Autism would be preferred, however, if you would still feel confident you are right for the role, please research Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and Autism to understand the challenges it presents.

Longdon Hall School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 7 to 18, catering for children with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our dedicated team, work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.

The established staff team come from a variety of backgrounds and have individual skills, which can be utilised, within this school. We have a multidisciplinary team including clinicians who you will be able to learn off and collaborate with in order to achieve the best outcomes possible for our children.
