Job Title: Design and Technology Technician  

Location: Bramfield House School, Halesworth

Salary:  £14,000 per annum

Hours: 30 Hours - 7:30am- 2:00pm Monday – Friday

Contract: Permanent (Term time only)

(Construction, DT, Catering, Science, Motor Vehicle Maintenance)

Do you love supporting Children? Do you enjoy Design and Technology and helping people to make things? Bramfield House School is looking for an innovative thinker who can support the staff and children to maintain and organise equipment and allow the teachers to create new and encapsulating ways of teaching this creative subject to our students.

We are looking for a creative, engaging and open-minded DT technician to join our family feel team. You must have a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging of minds and behaviours. We are looking for candidates, who want to get involved, have their ideas heard, aren’t afraid of getting dirty in workshops and who are resilient and caring. Previous experience with SEMH is desirable but isn’t essential. If you have no experience, please research SEMH and the challenges it may present.

The established staff team come from a variety of previous occupations and have individual skills, which can be utilised, within this school. So, if you have an interest and/or qualifications in construction, plumbing, electronics, construction, motor mechanics or others, we would love to hear from you!

Bramfield House School is an independent residential special educational needs school for boys aged 7 – 16 years who have social, emotional, mental health, communication difficulties and associated challenging behaviours, located in rural Suffolk.
