Can you enrich the lives of young people as a Deputy Manager in a Children’s Residential setting?

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join our fantastic team at Ash House in Wolverhampton. As the Deputy Registered Manager, you will support our Registered Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the home, helping our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

This is a great opportunity to continue your leadership career in care, working as part of a team committed to helping children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a setting where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where children and young people are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible.

Our Deputy Managers help to ensure our care teams have the structure, resources and motivation needed to provide the individual, bespoke, support required by the children and young people in our care. Alongside the Deputy Manager, you will deliver efficient management, delivery, and development of our residential SEMH service, ensuring the highest quality of care and support is consistently given.

When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a Deputy Manager who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.

Already a Deputy Manager or with previous management experience in a similar 24/7 SEMH care setting with ambition to progress, you will bring the right motivation, personal qualities, and levels of resilience to ensure a caring, structured service that provides a calm, homely environment.

Qualified in Level 3 Diploma in children and young’s people workforce or equivalent, you will be a calm, engaging, resilient leader able to motivate your team to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.
