We currently have an opportunity to join us at our service, Bredon House based in Powick, Worcester. Bredon House is a fantastic service which provides residential care and support to young adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. Previous healthcare industry experience isn’t required as full training is provided.
CQC rated Good Bredon House is a small, homely service which accommodates 8 residents each with an individual flat of their own. There is a sensory room and recreation room with TV for movie nights and Nintendo DS for gaming plus, a communal lounge and kitchenette. The home has great public transport routes and free parking on site. Based in a quiet residential area the house also has cars to be able to take advantage of days out. The team at Bredon House have worked there a long time and when you join you join a close knit, supportive and welcoming environment where you will receive all the training you need.
No two days are the same and as a Support Worker you will be empowered to make each day as fulfilling as possible. This includes supporting with independent life skills such as shopping and cooking to activities such as swimming, basketball, football, crafts, museum trips and more. We encourage all residents to be as active as possible in the community and benefit from many amenities close by. The team often have BBQs and trips to the local pub which is within walking distance.
