Position: Registered Children’s Home Manager

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

We are looking to appoint a Registered Manager, who will have the autonomy to make referral decisions and to use your ideas to create a fun, safe and nurturing home environment for children with Emotional, Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) challenges. We are looking for a creative, inspirational and open-minded Registered Manager to inspire and lead our family feel team. We would like someone who wants to get involved, have their ideas heard and who are confident being a parental figure, managing a team and safeguarding the Children within the home. You must have a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging of minds and behaviours and always share our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and make their way in the world.

Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or a Registered Manager, working with young people with a history of trauma and SEBD is required. The preferred candidate will already have, or be happy to work towards, your Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.

About us

Our homes are two or three-bed, located in Nottingham. There is a cluster of 10 homes in Nottingham and therefore, each Manager has a peer group who works collaboratively to share ideas and learn from each other. The homes are large modern houses where the children have the opportunity to decorate and design their own rooms. The ideal candidate will provide consistency in supporting young people in their day-to-day lives, enhancing their life skills, creating fun, and engaging activities to do at the evenings and weekends and making sure, they are safe and secure in their surroundings.

The team within this home all work collaboratively to ensure the young people are supported and safeguarded, within and outside of their home.
