We are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team at (insert school & location). As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will support our Teachers in taking a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, maximising children’s achievement, and ability to develop.

This is a great opportunity for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant who is looking to continue their career in Education and is motivated to inspire learning in children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

We are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, who can work with individual and small groups of children, leading lessons when required, and building relationships with pupils to promote interaction and learning.

You will be looking to bring your previous experience of working in an SEN/ASC environment to a school that shares your vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.

Having already achieved HLTA status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, enjoy working as part of a team, be confident in leading classes and small groups, and be genuinely motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.

 

About us:

The Tower School is a brand new, independent special day School for pupils aged 11-18 who have a primary diagnosis of Autism. Our dedicated team, work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who will often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.

The Tower School site is currently going through significant refurbishment and is scheduled to open in early February 2021. It is based in Epping, Essex and is located on Epping High Road within easy access of J26 of the M25 and Junction 5 of the M11.  Epping is a lovely market town in Essex and just 17 miles (30 km) from the centre of London.  It is surrounded by Epping Forest and the River Roding and River Lea valleys. The school is just a 10-minute walk from Epping station on the London Underground’s central line which will have you in London’s West End in under 50 minutes.
