Salary:                        Up to £18,137.60.00 dependent on experience

Location:                    Underley Garden, Kirkby Lonsdale

Hours:                        40 hours per week (8.00am – 4.00pm)

We are looking for a Care Co-ordinator to join our team at Underley Garden in Kirkby Lonsdale. 

 

About the School

The young people who attend Underley Garden all have an EHCP/statement of special educational needs. Underley meets the needs of a range of SEN including; Autism, Learning Difficulties, Mental Health & Medical needs and related behavioural difficulties.

About the Role

We are looking for a Care Co-ordinator who will undertake a range of duties relating to the administrative needs of our Children’s Care Home.

Who we are looking for

You will be a responsible, organised and approachable person who will ensure that all administrative duties are completed to a high standard.

Essential Criteria

  • Interface closely with the Registered Manager and Office Manager to achieve joint working and effective administration of the service
  • Work on the Reception desk (8.00am – 9.00am) welcoming all visitor’s / agency workers in a professional, friendly manner and ensuring all safer recruitment procedures are followed
  • Be responsible for all admin related duties
  • Good communication skills
  • Compassionate – good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children and young people, other staff remaining sensitive and empathetic
  • Intuitive and caring nature
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the organization
