Sessional Support Worker - St. Helens
We are currently looking for a Sessional Support Worker to support children in fostering placements in St. Helens. As a sessional support worker, you will be responsible for helping to deliver support packages to children placed with foster carers.

As a National Fostering Group, self-employed sessional support worker you will need experience of working with children and young people and an interest in their welfare. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are also vital. An enhanced DBS will be required for the role together with a full driving licence and the use of a car.
As a Sessional support worker you may be required to provide transport, plan activities or support individuals. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require a flexible approach to working hours and the range of duties you will undertake to meet the needs of the services agreed by the Regional Manager and the local authority. . The successful candidate will be required to provide an emergency response to crisis experienced by the carer or child in placement, including weekends and evenings on a rota basis.
