Outcomes First Group expands through merger with Options Group

We are delighted to announce that Outcomes First Group has come together with Options Group, to create one of the UK’s largest providers of specialist care and education.

The combined Group will look after circa 700 children and young adults across services ranging from special schools, residential care, colleges and specialist fostering.

The merger offers a real opportunity to build upon its strong foundation to expand the services it offers to Local Authorities at a national level. These include care, education and clinical support for looked after children including a pathway to fostering. A well established pathway for children and young adults with autism ranging from residential and day schools, transition services for young adults through to supported living makes up the other key offering.
Graham Baker of Options will head the new organisation as CEO which at a Group level will be known as the Outcomes First Group. Graham has been CEO of Options for over 3 years.

Roger who has been the CEO of Outcomes First Group for 8 years becomes the Chairman of the expanded Group. Both Graham and Roger have a wealth of experience in the social care and education sector and together with the wider management team, will lead the Group as it moves forward.
Graham said: “We are extremely pleased to be merging with Outcomes First Group. Our respective organisations place a strong emphasis on quality, share the same client focussed values and have strong aspirations for the future. This is both a tremendous opportunity and natural progression for Options that will benefit our service users, local authorities and importantly our staff.”
Roger added: “This is a significant step which both expands our range and diversity of services and our geographic reach. By coming together, we will have a stronger and more responsive organisation that will be even better placed to serve the education and care needs of service users and commissioners across the areas in which we operate.”
