Outcomes First Group expands into the GCC with new regional headquarters in Dubai
Outcomes First Group (OFG) is taking an exciting step forward in its international journey, strengthening its presence across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) with the appointment of a Regional CEO and the opening of a new regional headquarters in Dubai.
As one of the world’s fastest-growing education markets, the GCC presents a significant opportunity to share OFG’s proven approach to inclusive, high-quality education while building strong, long-term partnerships across the region.
Investing in the future of education
Leading this next phase of growth is Mark Whitfield, who joins OFG as Regional CEO for the GCC. With more than 30 years of experience across UK and international education, Mark has an impressive track record of developing high-quality education provision and supporting sustainable growth.
Working from the new Dubai headquarters, Mark will lead OFG’s regional strategy, collaborating with governments, regulators and education partners to help develop inclusive, high-performing education systems that meet the needs of every learner.
Why the GCC?
The Gulf is recognised globally for its ambition to create innovative, future-focused education systems. As countries across the region continue to invest in educational excellence, there is growing demand for flexible approaches that recognise every learner’s strengths, needs and potential.
This aligns closely with OFG’s philosophy.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, OFG believes that learning is individual. Through a connected network of schools, partnerships and specialist services, the Group creates tailored pathways that enable children and young people to thrive.
Today, OFG supports more than 11,500 students across over 100 schools worldwide, with a dedicated team of more than 5,000 colleagues delivering exceptional education every day.
Building long-term partnerships
The new regional hub in Dubai will enable closer collaboration with partners across the GCC while providing a strong platform for future growth.
David Leatherbarrow, Group CEO, said:
“This is a significant step in extending our international reach and impact. The GCC has a clear ambition to build world-class, inclusive education systems, and we see a strong opportunity to contribute to that journey.
“With Mark’s leadership and our regional base in Dubai, we are well positioned to build long-term partnerships and bring our proven approach to more students and communities across the region.”
Mark Whitfield added:
“The Gulf is one of the most dynamic education markets globally, with a strong focus on quality, innovation and inclusion. Our priority is to work in partnership, supporting the development of education systems that meet the needs of all learners, while creating high-quality provision that delivers real impact.”
Looking ahead
The establishment of OFG’s GCC headquarters marks an important milestone in the Group’s international growth strategy. By working alongside education leaders across the region, OFG aims to help shape more inclusive education systems while creating lasting opportunities for children and young people.
As the organisation continues to expand its global reach, its purpose remains unchanged: building incredible futures through education.
