British Exploring are kicking off a great initiative called Wildestan.

Wildestan is for young people aged 14+. It’s an online interactive session where young people can learn about the wild from the comfort of their own homes.

British Exploring welcomes young people to come and meet professional Expedition Leaders, and experience being on expedition together with them and other Wildestan Explorers. From setting up a hammock to making insect traps for a home survey, you can be transported to your first basecamp, take part in new challenges, learn outdoor skills, and find out about the wilderness, without having to leave your home’.

We want as many people as possible to get involved so please talk to your young people and foster carers about this experience. This information is also available via NFA World
