Outcomes First Group raise money for Lemn Sissay’s Christmas Dinner Campaign

Founded by Lemn Sissay, “The Christmas Dinner” takes place on Christmas Day. It is an event for care leavers between the ages of 18 and 25 and is organised by a collective of volunteers working together to provide a Christmas dinner to remember.

Hillcrest Children’s Services raised money for the event by running a car boot and a cake sale and the Outcomes First Group head office also came together to raise money for this amazing cause by donating to the charity instead of buying each other Christmas cards. Altogether, £155 has been raised which will go a long way to ensuring no care leaver is alone on Christmas day.

The Christmas dinner campaign promises to be a fabulous day providing Christmas dinner to around 300 young care leavers in five UK cities including London, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and Oxford.

So far the charity have successfully raised £27,928. To find out more about the event and to help raise more money, please visit the website here.
