Children in Need at Outcomes First Group

Outcomes First Group and our services group wide took part in a range of exciting and challenging activities for BBC Children in Need to support disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK.

The activities included baking a range of cakes and biscuits in food technology lessons, completing a Pudsey Puzzle, a non-uniform day, raffles, wearing something spotty, dressing up as Pudsey, painting, a football match and penalty shootout, a sponsored beard shave, cycling, a Pudsey bake off and so much more.

Graham Baker, CEO of Outcomes First Group said: “It is great to see all of the staff and the people we support coming together and getting into the spirit of Children in Need.

“Across our services we support young people and adults with autism, complex and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and we wanted to raise money for BBC Children in Need because we recognise that every single individual deserves to be happy, cared for and to be given the chance to succeed.

“Everyone made such a great effort and I want to congratulate each and every one of you and all the money raised for this amazing cause.”

BBC Children in Need works throughout the year to ensure that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood, and the chance to reach their full potential. It relies on the energy and commitment of thousands of fundraisers and supporters across the UK, who donate their time and money to put on events in support of the Appeal.

The amount of money we have raised from each service is yet to be confirmed, however we are aware that Options Higford raised an amazing £750 and Hillcrest Glebedale School raised a fantastic £100. More fundraising totals from across the group are expected in the coming weeks.
