Role: Adult Care Worker Apprentice

Salary: £22,620.00 (£10 per hour) plus £52.50 per sleep in, increasing to £24,203.40 per annum (£10.70 per hour) once apprenticeship complete.

Plus, (from 1st October 2022) up to an additional £450 per annum travel allowance*

Hours: 43.5 hours per week

About the Home:

We have three Adult residential homes based in the Cumbria region, all within a close distance of each other. These sites vary from Middleton Fells - a brand-new site supporting adults aged 18 to 64 with Autism Spectrum conditions and Learning Disabilities. Greenacres – a site that houses young adults with complex needs, and require close supervision, however, enjoy accessing the local community to take part in a range of activities, and Grange View – a more independent home, with residents that access the local community to access vocational education, paid employment, or volunteering. Grange View residents benefit more from opportunities that allow then to increase the independence and basic life skills.

The homes are based in Kirkby Lonsdale and Grange-Over-Sands and are within commuting distance from Lancaster, Morecambe, Kendal, Carnforth and surrounds.

What we need from you:

· Full and valid UK Driving Licence

· Access to a car

· Right to Work in the UK

· Willing to work towards a funded Adult Care Worker Level 2 Apprenticeship

· Passionate about caring for young adults, and to support them to reach their full potential

*Travel allowance of £200 per annum awarded for less than 10 miles travel. £450 per annum awarded for over 10 miles travel
