Role: Children’s Care Worker

Salary: £9.52 per hour, increasing to £9.70 per hour, once qualified

Plus, £1,102.50 - £1,653.75 cost of living allowance and up to £1,500* per annum travel allowance and a minimum of £2,475.00 per annum sleep in allowance (based on min 55 sleeps per year)

About the Home:

Acorn Education and Care are recruiting Children’s Care Workers to join our teams within the Oxfordshire region. Our registered independent children’s homes offer residential care for children & young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).

Each of our homes are within commutable distance from Chipping Norton, North Aston, Middle Barton, Kidlington, Oxford, Bicester, Aylesbury and other surrounding towns and villages.

What we need from you:

· Full and valid UK Driving Licence

· Access to a car

· Right to Work in the UK

· Willingness to work towards a funded Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner or NVQ equivalent

· Passionate about caring for Children and Young People, and to support them to reach their full potential

*Travel allowance of £100 is awarded for a round trip of 40-80 miles. £125 for 81+ miles
