About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinician to provide support across our schools in Staffordshire. We are looking for a Wellbeing Coordinator who can work with individual and small groups of children, taking a lead role in both managing and delivering clinical support to pupils. Ensuring the safe management, supervision and directing of the clinical input to our children and young people. You will provide advice and guidance to pupils relating to their social & emotional wellbeing, therapeutic needs and access to education. Establishing productive working relationships with both pupils, carers and School Staff.

Acting as a role model to establish and maintain constructive relationships, exchanging information, facilitating support for their child’s attendance, and access to learning as well as home to school and community links. Our well-established Clinical Team maintain a nurturing environment where our children can flourish. Always putting our children and young people at the forefront of everything they do. All our settings maintain a strong safeguarding culture, and our children and young people are heard, respected and involved in decisions that affect them wherever possible.

You will be responsible for Manage and monitor universal, enhanced and specialist services / assessments for young people e.g. Educational Psych. Assessments, CBT, and Play Therapy. In line with EHCP’s / LAC Care Plans & commissioned services including case management oversight. You will line manage a team of wellbeing and therapeutic professionals and monitor and measure the impact of services on our young people.

Based in stunning grounds in Derbyshire, Longdon Park provides education for children between the ages of 7 and 16 who have been diagnosed with autism or demonstrate behaviours associated with autism.

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised and relevant Clinical qualification to degree level
  • Registration with appropriate Clinical bodies
  • Driving licence and access to vehicle
  • Experience of line management
  • Experience of working with specified client groups
