Job Title:          Speech and Language Therapist

Location:          Kings Bromley and Longdon Green, Staffordshire

Salary:              £27,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience (pro rata)

Contract:          Permanent

Hours:              22.5 - 37.5 hours per week

About the role

Are you newly qualified and looking for your first role, or an experienced Speech & Language Therapist looking for a new challenge? If so, join our growing multi-disciplinary Clinical Hub working within 2 of our neighbouring therapeutic day schools in Staffordshire.

Working collaboratively with the clinical and education teams, you will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our children and young people who present with complex needs including developmental trauma, Autism, ADHD and SEMH needs. You will also support our education colleagues through training and consultation. As part of the Clinical Hub, you will benefit from our commitment to clinical supervision, skill development and becoming part of our large, national team of excellent clinicians.

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree
  • Valid and up to date HCPC Registration
  • Registered member of RCSLT
  • Previous experience of paid or voluntary work within children or adults presenting with complex needs
  • Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
  • Hold a full UK driving licence, with access to a car
  • Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality preferred.
  • Newly qualified candidates will be considered.
  • Ability to work independently
