We’re looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join Outcomes First Group to be based in Littlehampton supporting our children, young people and their families at Arun Hope Family Assessment Centre.

Someone with a holistic and integrated approach to care  and clinical services would be perfect for this role.

 

About The Role

The successful applicant will be located close to our Family Assessment Centre and will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team providing services of, but not limited to - Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational and Sensory Integration Therapy, Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology, Therapy Assistants and other appropriate professions as the allocated services require to meet the needs of children, young people and families.

 

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an individual interested in developing skills and experience across a range of services, to include SEMH, as well as neurodevelopmental differences.  The post-holder will work under the direct supervision of a Psychotherapist to support the overall framework of the service policies and procedures and support the integration of their specific service in the day to day running of each provision i.e. standardised assessments and clinical services. A key aspect of the role will be supporting the delivery of informed interventions at a universal, targeted and specialist level to support our wider teams in meeting our children, young peoples, and adult’s needs in line with set care plans.

The role is required to take place in our brand new Family Assessment Centre that is due to open in September.

 

Key Skills

  • Eligibility for registration with the BPS (graduate basis) required.
  • Undergraduate degree in Psychology - grade 2:1 or above
  • Able to work under the supervision of a qualified Psychologist.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience of working within an educational setting and/or with children desirable.
  • Able to manage own time and prioritise tasks.
