Options Autism are recruiting an Adult Senior Care Worker to join our teams within the Grantham area. Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable adults with autism, complex needs and learning disabilities.

Hazel House is a renovated property which has been adapted to meet the needs of the individuals within our care. A 4 bed site the house has a large enclosed garden, sensory corner and large communal areas which include a breakfast and kitchen area, dining room and lounge.

Our service and support is unique, bespoke and tailor made to fit each service user’s needs and we fit the service around the individuals, not the individuals around the service. Through ensuring that we provide clear structure and continuity in all aspects of care and life skills we teach, we are able to produce positive outcomes for the individuals living at Hazel House.

Hazel House is based in Grantham, but is within commutable distance from Grantham, Lincoln and Peterborough and surrounds.

The Role:

ou will be responsible for the wellbeing of the adult residents in your care. This will include chaperoning the children to appointments and activities, completing relevant paperwork, undertaking household tasks, and where appropriate administering medication.

You will also lead, train and develop new and existing care workers within your team, helping the deputy manager to maintain a skilled and knowledgeable team in order to deliver the best care for our adult residents.

Key Skills Required:

  • Currently hold your Adult Care Worker Level 2 Apprenticeship or Equivalent,​ and the Right to Work in the UK
  • Previous experience in a similar care setting with ambition to progress
  • Full and valid UK Driving Licence
  • Access to a car
