Salary:                 £17,500 - £18,000 per annum dependent on experience

Location:             Belmont School – Rawtenstall, Rossendale, Lancashire.

Hours:                 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday

Contract:             Permanent

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a professional, organised and enthusiastic School Administrator to join our close-knit team at Belmont School in Rossendale.

About the School

Belmont is an independent specialist day education for boys between the ages of 5 and 18 who have very complex social, emotional and mental health needs.  Our dedicated team work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.

About the Role

To welcome visitors into the school and provide administrative and clerical functions for the school and its staff, ensuring that the services are provided in an efficient, effective and timely way and in compliance with the requirements of the Acorn group and the school Senior Leadership Team.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced School Administrator.  Whilst experience within an SEMH/SEN specialist provision would be desirable we will consider applications from those who are currently working in a mainstream school or other professional setting. Further training and development will be provided for the successful candidate in line with the identified needs of the school, the skills of the individual and their prospective career progression.

The successful applicant will have relevant experience within an administration role.  Experience of working with young people/young adults with autistic spectrum disorders and/or challenging behaviour and experience of working within an education/residential setting is highly desirable.
