We’re looking for a SEND Teacher to join the Reddish Hall School team.

About the School

Reddish Hall School is a co-educational school catering for students aged 5-18 with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviour. The school accepts students with social and emotional difficulties, though our students may face additional challenges and diagnoses including ADHD, ASC, SpLD, MLD, OCD, Dyslexia, Attachment Disorder, Dyscalculia, Foetal Alcohol Syndrome and a variety of other conditions. Additionally, many of our students have serious social issues and very difficult home lives resulting in complex emotional difficulties.

About the Role

Due to the growth of the school, we are seeking a flexible and talented teacher to join our team to deliver English, Maths and humanities to Key Stage 3 classes.  The role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching a mix of subjects and has a flair for being able to deliver interesting, hands on lessons to engage pupils in their learning.  The successful candidate will be supported by the Heads of English and Maths and the Humanities Lead teacher with regards to planning and subject knowledge.  The pastoral side of school is one of our strengths, and a key element of the role is as a form tutor.  Intervention with individuals or small groups may also be part of the role also.
