Hours:             40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm (On Call duties included and hours to reflect the needs of the home)

We are seeking to recruit a Registered Home Manager to work at our home based in Telford in Shropshire.

About the Service

Old Vicarage is a 4-bed registered Children’s home. We support Children and Young People to build incredible futures by giving them opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests. The home is currently vacant with a view of the successful new manager to build an incredible service catering for children of a younger age (starting at 5 years old) as a pathway to our fostering division and other homes for older children within the region.

This home is based in Telford and is within commuting distance from Shrewsbury, Cannock, Market Drayton and Bridgnorth

About the role

We are looking for a Deputy Manager or a current Registered Manager to join our fantastic team at Old Vicarage. As the Registered Manager you will ensure the smooth operation of the home, helping our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

You will deliver efficient management, delivery, and development of our residential SEMH service, ensuring the highest quality of care and support is consistently given.

Having attained a Level 3 QCF Children and Young Peoples Workforce and level 5 QCF Leadership and Management (or working towards it), you will be a calm, engaging, resilient leader able to motivate your team to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.
