Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant

Hours:  37.5 hours per week            

Location:  Bolton

Hybrid working at least three days a week in the office  

Salary:  Up to £22,000 per annum        

Contract: Permanent      

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant join our team and be responsible for the effective financial control.

In the role as Accounts Payable Assistant  you will provide professional and flexible support to the Accounts Payable team. You will process invoices, reconcile payments and purchase orders and be required to deal with queries from suppliers via email and phone.

To be successful in the role you will need:

  • Great interpersonal and communications skills
  • Office experience (ideally within an accounts payable) and a willingness to learn
  • Good team working skills
  • The ability to work to monthly deadlines
  • An aptitude for IT – knowledge of software packages like Excel, and BACS
  • Previous experience dealing with email and telephone queries
  • Good time management and organisational skills.

About Finance

As a centralised function at Outcomes First Group, Finance supports several acquired agencies, over 60 schools and 72 residential homes for vulnerable young people, children, and adults. Our Finance team consists of Management Accounts, Transactional Finance and Commercials.
