We now have a fantastic opportunity for an Office Manager to join our brand new team at Brookthorpe Hall School, Gloucester. 

About the School:

Brookthorpe Hall School is a new independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 7 to 14, catering for children with a wide range of needs, SEMH/ASD/Complex trauma. Our dedicated team will work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.

About the Role:

As a School Office Manager, you will assist with the strategic day-to-day running of the School; this will include assisting with finance, IT, infrastructure and maintenance along with helping the Head teacher with the growth plans for the School. You will make decisions focused in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop. This is a great opportunity for someone who is calm, organised and resilient and who wants to help to make a difference to children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

Brookthorpe Hall School is a new independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 7 to 14, catering for children with a wide range of needs, SEMH/ASD/Complex trauma. The School is based on extensive grounds with vocational and academic spaces for the Children to learn within.

Whilst previous experience of working in a School would be desirable, excellent organisational skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.

You will also have the opportunity to manage and develop a number of School support staff such as Administrators, Catering Manager and Maintenance manager and so a strong sense of Leadership would be essential.
