Can you enrich the lives of young people as a Team Leader in a Children’s Residential Care Setting?

We are looking for a caring, responsible, Team Leader to join our fantastic team at Higford. As Team Leader you will help lead a team of Support Workers who care for our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a setting where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where children and young people are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible.

Our Team Leaders carry out an essential and varied role, supporting in leading a team to provide the individual, bespoke support required by the children and young people in our care. You will help design, implement, and monitor the care and education plans to meet the individual needs of our children and young people, ensuring that key life and independent skills are achieved in the enriching and positive environment we strive to create.

Previous management experience would be great, but we would also like to hear from experienced Residential Care Workers taking your first steps into a management role.

Already qualified with Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, diligent regarding quality and compliance, and motivated to bring your experience to a team that is passionate about providing a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.
