We are looking for responsible, caring individual to join our fantastic team at Aqueduct House in Stretton, Staffordshire, as a Therapeutic Support Worker. As the Therapeutic Support Worker, you will support our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

This is a great opportunity to continue your career in care, working as part of a team committed to helping children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a setting where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where children and young people are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible.

Our Therapeutic Support Workers carry out an essential and varied role to develop independent life skills and provide the bespoke, therapeutic support required by the children and young people in our care. You will support, mentor and educate our children in day-to-day activities to develop emotional and social needs, and help them develop practical skills to enhance or enable independent living.

When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a Therapeutic Support Worker who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.

Your previous experience of working with young people in an SEMH environment will be invaluable as you positively engage with our children, providing structured, consistent care and development.

Already qualified to or willing to work towards your NVQ3 in Health & Social Care, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, able to work the required shifts, and be motivated to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.
