We’re looking for a Part Time Residential Childcare Night Worker to join our School. Someone with relevant experience of Autistic Spectrum disorder would be perfect for this role.

About the School:

Falkland House School is an in independent residential school for boys from primary to aged 18 years.  Our pupils have a range of Additional Support Needs including emotional and behavioural difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Disorder.  We were the first independent school in Scotland (outside of the NAS) to receive accreditation from the National Autistic Society.

About the Role:

Hours will be 9:30pm – 8:30am.  Responsibilities will include undertaking regular checks on pupils and keep night logs and registers updated.  Light cleaning duties will be required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Ability to remain awake all night to ensure the safety and protection of pupils overnight
  • Driver of manual vehicles
  • Willing to work towards necessary qualifications in accordance with the minimum requirement for registration as determined the Scottish Social Services Council.
