Salary: £32,320.00 Per Annum; Pro Rata
Contract: Part Time; Permanent (52 weeks)

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Psychotherapist to join our in-house clinical team supporting New Barn School, residential homes and fostering agencies, based in Newbury.
The post holder will be required to offer direct one-to-one sessions or group sessions. The successful applicant will also be required to facilitate reflective practice groups and consultation to staff teams and contribute to the assessment and intervention plans for our children and young people. The role will involve the provision of advice, information and training to staff, other members of the clinical/wellbeing and multi-professional teams, commissioners, and other agencies.
Multi-professional working is essential in our aim to provide a high-quality service that promotes the wellbeing and interests of the children and young people we support. The postholder will have the opportunity to work closely with other members of team, which comprises of Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language therapy, Psychotherapy and therapy and psychology assistants.
Who we are looking for
We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic psychotherapist. Someone with a holistic and integrated approach to care, education and clinical services would be perfect for this role.
Applicants must have:
- Honours degree in relevant speciality or completion of a recognised and accredited play and/ or creative arts therapy course at Post Graduate Diploma Level or above.
- BACP/PTUK/BAPT/HCPC registration or equivalent and experience of working with children with developmental trauma/ASD is desirable.
- A driving license and car are essential due to the regional nature of the role.
- Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality
