Hours:     37.5 hours per week - Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

About the School:

The Tower School is a small, new, independent, special day School for pupils aged 11-18 (opened in April 2021) who have a primary diagnosis of Autism.

Our dedicated team, work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils in terms of personal identity, independence and employability through a bespoke curriculum.

The school currently has 17 pupils on roll and will grow to a maximum capacity of 62 pupils over the next 18 months.

The Tower School is located on Epping High Road within easy access of J26 of the M25 and Junction 5 of the M11. Epping is a lovely market town in Essex and just 17 miles (30 km) from the centre of London.

It is surrounded by Epping Forest and the River Roding and River Lea valleys. The school is just a 10-minute walk from Epping station on the London Underground’s central line which will have you in London’s West End in under 50 minutes.

About the Role:

We are seeking to appoint a flexible, personable and efficient Pupil Services Assistant to support our pupils and their families.

As the Pupil Services Assistant, you will be joining a great team and will work closely with the Family Liaison Lead. The students that attend this school will all have special educational needs with a diagnosis of Autism, so you will need to be patient, empathetic and resilient whilst providing professional and effective administration to the School.

You will often be the first point of contact for parents. You will be enthusiastic, able to work effectively as part of a team as well as working alone and dedicated to making a difference to improving the lives of the young people that we support. The successful candidate will be likely to come from a background of working with young people and / or families.
