About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Hardware Engineer to join our team at the Bolton Office. 

You'll be joining a new team with hands-on responsibility for building and repairing laptops and desktops used in more than 200 locations across the UK. Our successful candidate will be responsible for making sure all new starters have the equipment they need on the day they start as well as managing the replacement and repair of equipment when it stops working. The Hardware Engineer will help colleagues with remote diagnostics and when that doesn't work, you'll coordinate a replacement and/or repair.

Who we are looking for

Our ideal candidate will be very customer focussed, always using user-friendly words for the most complex of technical issues. A willingness to learn is vital for this role as you seek continuous improvement on your practical skills.

As our new Hardware Engineer, you will deal with new user and leaver management, so a working knowledge of Active Directory and Office is preferred. You will also have some knowledge of incident and problem resolution for hardware calls escalated from the Service Desk or generated via the ticketing system.
