We are seeking to recruit a Deputy Home Manager to work at our home based in Norwich.

About us:

Acorn Park is a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School and Residential home within the Outcomes Autism and Outcomes First Group, the UK’s Largest, Independent Children’s services group.  The School specialises in communication and learning challenges associated with Autism.

The School and Homes are within a private, 30 acre Estate situated within Norfolk’s picturesque and tranquil countryside, close to the town of Banham.

The aim of the site is to provide enough support to unlock each child’s potential so they can live fulfilling and productive lives. We provide the young people with as much freedom as possible in a safe and supervised environment. This is achievable due to the dedication and support from a range of employed professionals who are passionate, reliable and understanding.

For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.

About the role

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our fantastic team at Acorn Park School and Residential home. As the Deputy Manager, you will support our Registered Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the home, helping our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Our Deputy Managers help to ensure our care teams have the structure, resources and motivation needed to provide the individual, bespoke, support required by the children and young people in our care. Alongside the Registered Manager, you will deliver efficient management, delivery, and development of our residential SEMH service, ensuring the highest quality of care and support is consistently given.

Already a Deputy Manager or with previous management experience in a similar 24/7 ASC care setting with ambition to progress, you will bring the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience to ensure a caring, structured service that provides a calm, homely environment.

Qualified in Level 3 Diploma Care Leadership and Management, you will be a calm, engaging, resilient leader able to motivate your team to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.
