Salary: up to £18,000 depending on experience
About the Role
We remain open minded in regards to the position holder being a newly qualified or more experienced clinician, so all levels are welcome to apply and this is reflected in the salary scale.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that consists of a Clinical Lead, Wellbeing and Clinical Coordinator, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychotherapists from an array of disciplines, access to Clinical and Educational Psychology . You will provide Occupational service in line with Jubilee School’s core delivery model at a universal, enhanced and/or specialised level of intervention as determined by our internal audit of need or as specified on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
You will work collaboratively to promote the wellbeing and best interests of our children and young people and ensure effectiveness of the service in achieving its aims and objectives to provide a high quality service of provision in line with best practice guidance and internal policy and procedure. You will undertake all aspects of Occupational Therapy clinical duties adhering to professional and regulatory guidelines, carry out individual assessments and interventions, advise others, prepare relevant documents and write reports.
You will need to provide advice, information and training to staff, commissioners and other agencies regarding complex sensory issues relevant to mental health and well-being, autism, learning difficulties, developmental trauma and associated conditions including children and young people who present with behaviours that challenge.
Multidisciplinary working is essential to Jubilee School’s aim to provide a high-quality service that promotes the wellbeing and interests of the children and young people it supports. Collaborative working and integration of Occupational Therapy support within the day to day running of the provision is a key part of this role.

Our students present with a wide range of needs, including social and emotional issues, learning difficulties, mental health problems and associated conditions. However, they are able to enjoy extraordinary outcomes and be happy at school. All classes have excellent ratios of at least 2:1 students to adults. Typically classes have between 6-9 students.
- A Speech and Language Therapy Degree
- HCPC registration
- Experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience of working with children and young people
- Demonstrable ability to complete clinical tasks
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of other key professionals
- Ability to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict
