Role: Registered Manager

Region: Blackwater, Cornwall

Salary: £34,000 per annum

Hours: 40 Hours a Week. Mainly Monday-Friday, with flexibility. 

As a Registered Home Manager you will be responsible for the care of up to four young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, including challenging behaviour who may also have mild-moderate learning difficulties.

The successful candidate will effectively manage the small care team to achieve the best outcomes for our residents, whilst providing a safe and secure environment and maintaining Ofsted and Quality Care Standards.

About us:

Acorn Education and Care are recruiting a Registered Manager to join our Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) team within Blackwater, Truro. The young people in this home may also have mild to moderate Learning Disabilities (LD). Our beautiful and homely residential setting provides 24/7 care to 4 young people, within each home. Each child has their own room which they decorate to their individual tastes and cater for their requirements. The children could display a variety of challenges and be verbally or physically aggressive. Therefore, we are looking for enthusiastic and caring people to help make a difference to these children regardless of the challenges you may be faced with.
