Job Title: Data Protection Advisor (Subject Access Requests)

We are looking for Data Protection Advisor to join Outcomes First Group and support our team with Subject Access Requests.
About the Role
As the Data Protection Advisor, you will support our Data Protection function to manage the Groups GDPR and regulatory compliance obligations with specific responsibility for responding to Subject Access Requests.
You will communicate with our service colleagues with respect to collation and context of requests and offer support and advice to staff on the safe transfer of data. Your day will consist of processing records with consideration of Right of Access exemptions, redactions, third party and Joint Controller consent.
Who we are looking for?
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of responding to Data Subject Access Requests under UK GDPR and able to work through cases consistently and at pace. You will have in depth knowledge of Subject Access Request response guidelines including third party data considerations, joint controller requirements and applicable exemptions.
You will be a strong communicator both written and verbal with the ability to link with the team colleagues and those working within services, as well as data subjects.
Fostering or care/education sector experience would be highly desirable, however this is not essential.
