You will lead on education recruitment across our network of 50 plus special educational needs schools. Managing a small team of experts you will develop nationwide attraction strategies and a best in class proactive recruitment service. The role

This is a new role created out of continued growth and the need to more strategically partner with our schools to deliver a proactive and market leading recruitment service. Our business moves quickly and the purpose of this role is to ensure Resourcing are ahead of the curve enabling future growth.  

As Resourcing Manager for Education you will report into the Head of Resourcing for Professional Practice and manage a team of three. You will be accountable for education recruitment across our network of 50 plus special educational needs schools in our Acorn Education and Care and our Options Autism business areas.

Your primary objective will be to drive divisional recruitment performance by fulfilling live vacancies and proactively developing talent pipelines for key roles. You will deliver effective national, regional and local attraction strategies by developing an in-depth knowledge of the sector, managing internal resources and external suppliers.

You and your team will develop close working relationships with our Headteachers, Principals and Regional Directors. In partnership with HR and Talent you will forecast recruitment needs in order to proactively source future talent for key roles.

About you

To be successful you will need significant end to end recruitment experience, as well as management experience. You will have a proven record of setting and achieving against clear key performance indicators.

It is essential you have experience of delivering and developing attraction strategies for multiple role types. You will understand the importance of market insight and a strong and continuously improving employer brand.

You will be a strong networker who ideally has experience in recruiting in one or more of the key sectors outlined above.

This role comes with a varied stakeholder landscape so it is important you are experienced at managing multiple stakeholder relationships.
