We are looking for responsible, caring people to join our fantastic team at Ramsworth Cottage, Thatcham, as Senior Residential Childcare Worker. As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, you will support our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

Our Senior Residential Childcare Workers carry out an essential and varied role to provide the individual, bespoke, support required by the children and young people in our care. You will lead children in activities, complete relevant paperwork, deliver personal care, undertake household tasks, and where appropriate administrate medication.
When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Already qualified to NVQ3 in Health & Social Care, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, able to work with emotional needs and challenging behaviour, and be motivated to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.
About us:
Ramsworth Cottage supports children and young people aged 8-18 years with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The 5 bedded home, set in a rural location in North Hampshire, will offer a holistic model of care and education for the residents, which is designed to provide an enriching and positive environment. Ramsworth cottage will be supported by a specialist independent Ofsted registered school that provides our children and young people a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment to support their personal and academic needs. Located in the Thatcham area the home will be commutable from Newbury, Tadley, Basingstoke, Swindon and other surrounding towns and villages. The home is set in a rural location, therefore your own transport is required.
