Job title:                Children’s Support Worker

Location:               Llangollen

Hours:                    40 hours per week

Salary:                    £8.91 - £9.89 plus £54+ per Sleep in.

Contract:               Permanent

As a Children’s Support Worker within our residential home in the Llangollen area, you will work directly with a vulnerable child with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs to provide them with the care, support and opportunities they need to be happy, healthy and to make their way in the world. You will work with our multi-disciplinary team and be given full training to contribute to the therapeutic care of our young person, providing a balanced programme of personal development focusing on attachment, social skills, independence and community involvement, enabling the young people to achieve their full potential. 

 On a daily basis, you may chaperone the child to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips to the zoo, complete relevant paperwork, deliver personal care, undertake household tasks, and where appropriate administer medication.

You will be contracted to a 2 on 4 off shift pattern amounting to roughly 40 hours per week, including sleep in’s
