As the Speech and Language Therapist, you will be part of a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing clinical provision, working as part of a team committed to helping children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a setting where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where children and young people are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

Our Speech and Language Therapists play a key role in our wellbeing approach which aims to address the whole person, not just from a purely clinical perspective but starting with biological aspects then moving onto physiological and psychological needs. You will work alongside other professionals to carry out specialist assessments as well as design & deliver the individual, bespoke SaLT interventions required by the children and young people in our care.

Quality is always top of our agenda and we pride ourselves on the quality of what we do. You will work collaboratively, attending internal and external meetings and helping to ensure the delivery of a co-ordinated multidisciplinary service.

Already a recognised Speech and Language Therapist with a relevant degree and membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), you will have at least 3 years experience working with children and young people with ASD, ADHD and learning disability. Some knowledge and experience of trauma and attachment difficulties is beneficial. This is a role which requires the individual to work confidentially and enthusiastically alongside other knowledgeable and skilled professionals to provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.
