Salary:                 Up to £33,000 Actual Salary, depending on experience; Term time only (39 weeks)

This is an exciting, new opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to join Hillingdon Manor School, covering a school-based service, working as a part of a large specialist in-house clinical team.  An ideal opportunity for those who would be excited by creating a nationally important resource with the substantial backing of a leading provider of education and care for children, young people, and adults with complex needs.

About the Role

You will be working collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary team, providing a Speech and Language Therapy service to children with autism and learning difficulties, undertaking assessments of students with diverse presentations to identify their individual learning, communication and social interaction needs.  You will support the development and delivery of individualised intervention programmes to help learning and to enable meaningful engagement and participation in activities, social interaction and relationships. You will model standards of best practice and the principles of Clinical Governance within your professional activities. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other Speech and Language Therapy colleagues and have regular supervision and team sessions that will support your development as a Speech and Language Therapist. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists and Creative Therapists.

Essential requirements

Recognised and relevant Speech & Language Therapy degree, and HCPC registration.  Those with experience within our specialist client group would be of particular interest.

If you are a newly qualified Speech and Language Therapist, ongoing support and development will be provided and applications are welcomed.
