Position: Care Worker

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

Salary: £9.00 - £9.50

Location: Nottingham

Do you want to have the autonomy to share your ideas to create fun, exciting and engaging activities for children with Social, Emotional, Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD)? Our residential home is looking for caring individuals who enjoy working with young people and are keen to make a difference.  

We are looking for creative, active and open-minded Care Workers, to join our family feel team. You must have a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging of minds and behaviours. We are looking for candidates, who want to get involved, have their ideas heard, are confident being a parental figure and who are resilient, active and caring. As part of this role, you will work with the children in their home. Previous experience with young people with a history of SEMH is preferred and a Level 3 qualification in health and social care is desirable. However, as long as you have the desire to complete the qualification, which will be fully funded and supported, all the training and help needed will be offer to ensure you are able to thrive in your care career.

If you have no experience but want to make a difference and have transferrable skills from working in hospitality, activity centres, the forces or public services, we would be excited to hear from you and can provide you all the training and support to succeed and develop, being a Care Worker.

Who are we?

This home is a 3 bedded Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) home. Each child has their own room, which they decorate to their individual tastes and cater for their requirements. The children could display a variety of challenges and be verbally or physically aggressive. Therefore, we are looking for enthusiastic and caring people to help make a difference to these children regardless of the challenges you may be faced with.

The team within the home all work collaboratively to ensure the young people are supported and safeguarded, within and outside of their home.
