Job title:           Senior Caretaker

Hours:              40 hours per week, plus on-call

Salary:              £26,000 - £30,000 per annum

Can you work flexibly to enrich the lives of young people as a Senior Caretaker?

We are looking for an experienced Senior Care taker to join our team based at our Overton School site. As a Senior Caretaker, you will support our Schools and Residential site to maintain buildings and equipment to the high standards set by the company and external regulators. This role will require you to be adaptable and flexible as the jobs dictate your day in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Caretaker who wants to make a difference to the lives of children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

Previous experience in a similar setting is essential, along with a recognised Plumbing and Joinery qualification, the right DIY skills, motivation, and personal qualities are just as important. These roles are ideal for people with skills in maintenance, DIY and health and safety, looking for a new role that makes a real difference to children’s lives and futures.
