Role: Psychotherapist / Art Therapist
Location: Lichfield/Burton-Upon-Trent
Salary: £38,000 – £48,000 (Pro Rata)
Contract: Full time or Part time available; Term Time Only

This is an exciting, new opportunity for an experienced Psychotherapist to join our clinical team in Staffordshire which provides therapeutic input into school settings and residential care homes. This post is to provide therapeutic input into two of our specialist day schools. This is an ideal opportunity for those who would be excited by creating a nationally important resource with the substantial backing of a leading provider of education and care for children, young people, and adults with complex needs.
About the Role
You will be responsible for working as part of our specialist multi-disciplinary clinical team to provide a Psychotherapy service within the school. The role involves individual assessments and direct interventions (individual and group) alongside providing advice, information and training to teaching staff, other members of the clinical/wellbeing and multi-disciplinary teams. Multi-professional working is essential to our aim to provide a high-quality service that promotes the wellbeing and interests of the children and young people it supports. Collaborative working and integration of therapy support within the day to day running of schools is a key part of this role.

We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic Psychotherapist. Someone with a holistic and integrated approach to care, education and clinical services would be perfect for this role.
Appropriate registration with the relevant professional body and experience of working with children & young people required.
A driving license and car are essential due to the locality nature of the role.
